Remember so many years ago when we started running?
My guess is 5 years ago... Anyway, I would get the worst shin-splints (sp?)
I went to that runners store in Long Beach, Runners High and they sold me a pair of:
Saucony Hurricanes, series 5 shoes. Great shoes!
My shin problems were gone. I still own the ratty things.
I replaced them 18 months later with a pair of series 7's Also great shoes.
Well, time goes by and I now the proud owner of a a shiny new pair of
Saucony Hurricanes, Series 10 !!!
I haven't tried them out yet.. Next week my friend, next week.
I wore my series 5's into the store to buy the new ones, the guys were laughing because they were such "old technology"
I briefly thought about kicking both their skinny asses (and with my mass it would have been easy), but instead I made them dig into my old stinky shoes and verify they were series 5's. HA HA! You have foot odor on your hands!!! and I stepped in doggy poo!!!!
